The English Language Education Study Program (Tadris Bahasa Inggris/TBI) of the Graduate School at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung organized an Iftar Together event as part of its communal activities during the holy month of Ramadan.

The event was held on Friday, March 6, 2026, starting at 4:00 PM (WIB) until completion. It took place in the South Hall on the 4th floor of the Graduate School building at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung and was attended by both students and lecturers from the TBI master’s program.

The Iftar Together event aimed to strengthen the relationship between students and lecturers while fostering a sense of togetherness within the academic community. Ramadan served as a meaningful moment to cultivate values of solidarity, care, and spirituality within the campus environment.

Through this activity, students not only gathered to break the fast together but also had the opportunity to build closer interactions with peers from different cohorts outside the formal classroom setting.

Several activities were included in the program, such as opening remarks from the Head and Secretary of the Study Program, followed by a religious lecture (tausiyah) delivered by Dr. Sajidin. In addition, students held a discussion session to share suggestions and feedback for the development of the study program. The event was further enlivened by singing religious songs before concluding with the communal breaking of the fast.

As a student who attended the event, I personally felt a strong sense of family within the academic environment. The togetherness experienced during the gathering created a memorable moment and strengthened the relationships among students as well as between students and lecturers within the TBI Graduate School academic community.
